Located on Davis Street, across from Joy Yee’s, Todoroki Hibachi and Sushi might just be the best thing to happen to Evanston (and sushi, for that matter) since you came here.

As I’m sure you all know, Todoroki’s all-you-can-eat has gotten better than ever; if you don’t think that good sushi could come out of an AYCE deal, think again dude. Add on awesome hibachi and sushi entrees, tasty sushi rolls (Tuna Crunch! Green Dragon!) and decadent desserts and you can see why people are raving about Todoroki.

Honestly, what are you waiting for? Buy a $15 coupon today and it’ll be worth $25 at the table. Worth it? Oh yes. Bring friends, too, ‘cause they won’t take this without at least two people to a table. I mean hey, you’re going to want to experience this one with your friends. It’s only right.

What a gorgeous renovation of what was an empty space! They have a sushi dining area, an enclosed hibachi area (so you don't have to smell the hibachi fumes), a couple of semi-private dining tables where you sit on the floor, and a back room that would be great for events. There were great lunch options including an all you can eat sushi option for $16.99. It's not a buffet, but order two rolls at a time until you have to be rolled out the door yourself (so less chance of scary, fish-borne illnesses). I got two huge, delicious rolls for $9.99 and I was plenty full. The quality of the sushi here blows Koi away, and it's closer to my office (win!). As of right now it's BYOB, but I can't tell if they're waiting on their liquor license or not. I will be back over and over again. – Megan K
