We may share your information with CouponCat Merchants. As part of the deals we run, merchants may request information on CouponCat customers who purchased the offer in order to aid redemption. In those cases, we share some of your Personally Identifiable Information with the merchant. Sharing this Information may allow a merchant to market directly to you should they choose to do so. However, we will only share Personally Identifiable Information with a merchant if you engage in an Identification Activity, and then only to the merchant involved in that Identification Activity. We specifically disclaim any responsibility or liability for the actions of such merchant. While we inform them that they are only permitted to communicate with you for the purposes of the specific promotion with CouponCat, we do not have any responsibility for the actions of the merchant, and the actions of the merchant are not in our control.

We may share your information for our Protection and the Protection of Others. We may share your email address with other NSH businesses. As a Northwestern Student Holdings portfolio company, we may provide your email address to other Northwestern Student Holdings companies for marketing related activities.


Regarding Children

Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to use CouponCat and we do not intentionally collect or maintain Personal Information from those who are under 13 years old. Protecting the privacy of children is very important to us. Thus, if we obtain actual knowledge that a user is under 13, we will take steps to remove that user's Personal Information permanently from our databases. We recommend that children between the ages of 13 and 18 obtain their parent's permission before submitting information over the internet. By using CouponCat, you are representing that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are at least 13 years old and have a parent's or guardian's permission to use CouponCat.
